Sometimes I think deep and hard about how they completely disregarded the fact that Katniss was not supposed to be textbook attractive, or very attractive at all for that matter, when they were casting the movie. It says a lot about our culture. We can’t have a leading lady be strong and powerful in a film without being attractive at the same time. What saddens me the most is that everyone just ignores it. If more fans spoke up and demanded that roles be cast with more consideration for poc and actors who don’t fit the “Hollywood” bill of attractive,maybe things would change. That being said, most of the argument is “oh but good acting trumps all” hmm… we wouldn’t know now would we? Because we don’t give actors a chance if they aren’t attractive. This is all just an opinion of course. It probably bothers me because something I always valued in that character was their strength through… character. 

I want to make some sort of a tutorial video today. What would you guys care to see? Anything at all really. 

Honestly I just genuinely love exercising? I know people complain about it a lot but I love it. It keeps me happy. It’s very therapeutic for me.
